I remember the very first photo shoot I did like it was yesterday. It was March of 2009, right after I had moved to Washington DC. I had just started working out with a trainer name Sara Black and had already began shedding a few pounds.
I discovered an old high school class mate on Facebook, who just so happened to be a photographer and currently lived in New York, NY. I learned that she was coming to visit her boyfriend's family in DC. So decided to set up a photo shoot, and a catch up lunch afterwards! It had been year since I had seen or even spoken to her. I was very excited to finally have a friend, seeing as my first year living in DC was very lonely.
